Greece: Korydallos prison authorities declare a state of emergency

soe

28.02.16: Korydallos prison launched a state of emergency on Sunday with the revocation of time-off work for prison guards, increased police presence around the facilities as well as continuous helicopter surveillance. It appears that the Ministry of Public Order and the Ministry of Justice will benefit from the cultivation of a climate of tension in order to justify the repressive measures they are about to inflict upon political prisoners.
