Greece: Repression against refugees in Katsikas

14.04.16:  About an hour ago riot police staged an intervention and dispersed a crowd of refugee families who had gathered to protest by blocking Egnatia Street and refused to return to the purgatory- concentration camp in Katsikas.

People in solidarity describe horrific scenes of women and children screaming in panic as police violence erupted.

According to information that became available some refugees and at least one supporter in solidarity have been detained by the police.

Interesting details in the video: The only thing heard is children screaming and cops ordering people around, while at some point orders towards photographers who were told not to shoot, can be clearly heard.
